Dear Parents/Guardians,

Fáilte romhaibh go léir ar ais. We hope you all had a very enjoyable summer with family and friends. A very warm welcome to the Junior Infants and their families. We hope that you will all feel very welcome in Holy Family N.S. and enjoy your time with us.

We wish last year’s sixth class the very best of luck as they head on to secondary school and we hope they’re not missing us too much!
The Board of Management has been successful in securing finances from the D.E.S. to replace the flat section of the school roof. Please continue to use the back door for the safety of all. Finally the traffic calming lights have been installed. Work on securing these lights began a few years ago when Claire Cullinane was chairperson of our Parents Association. Much credit is due to all who persevered with the bureaucracy.

Thank you to the parents and grandparents who helped to maintain the school grounds over the summer. We greatly appreciate the help of all involved.
Best of luck to the Cork Senior hurlers in the All Ireland from all in Holy Family. For those who are interested photographs of Inter County players from their Sciath na Scol days can be seen on the Sciath na Scol website.  Corcaigh Abú.

Le gach dea ghui

Josephine O’Neill
